If the price of gas keeps falling, more people will be out driving, and that will create more greenhouse gas and pollute the air we breathe. People will stop buying Priuses and will start buying the big SUVs again.

What are the candidate’s plans to get those gas prices up so the environment can be saved?

I’m sure the democrats will find some way to screw it up and get those prices back up there.

I am a full-time student at an accredited College. I'm also a Licensed Minister in the Church. I have 90% of my church and school related reciepts, including gas, meals, and a $130 calculator. I still live in my parents house, although they do not support me financially. I have been told, as a student I can get all my state and fed back…but I don't know…I need all i can get though. please help

You do not get any special tax breaks as a student except that you may qualify for the Hope or Lifetime earning credit if you have enough income to generate a tax liability. If you are receiving compensation for ministerial services you should qualify for a parsonage allowance exclusion. A minister's housing allowance is not subject to income tax but is subject to Self-employment tax unless you have opted out.

If this can be done, please give me some guidelines on how to use the calculator this way.

if this can be done,

Im doing a project for drivers ed and i cant figure out the MPG for the Jeep Cherokee that I hypothetically bought. It is a 1990 4D and I need to figure out what the MPG are on it and how much gas would cost for 10,000 miles. The gas price doesn’t matter (you can use the price in your area) or if would like to be specific look up prices in Northern New Jersey.

well you really need to know the MPG, if you said it was around 15 then 10,000\15=666.67 so 666 gallons of gas, 666*3.20=$2133. If you got 20 MPG then 10,000/20=500 500 gallons of gas, 500*3.20=$1600. It really depends on your MPG and the gas prices can affect it too.

if you find out the MPG use this to find out how much it will cost.

(miles)
10,000 divided by MPG to get the GALLONS then times the gallons by the gas price and there you go

10,000\MPG=gallons gallons*gas price= total cost.
