I’m so clueless. I’m going on a road trip and plan on driving about 500 miles, how much (gas wise) will this cost? Just a round estimate would be perfect.

depends on your mpg if u get 60 miles per gallon then ur cost of gas per gallon is 60 miles a gallon and then well 60×8 = 480 so thats close to 500 miles + maybe 1/4 of a gallon . 20 miles per gallon will be 25 gallons of gas to make it 500 miles if gas was at $2.50 a gallon then u will be paying $62.50. good luck!

I asked this last week when it was down to $2.57 here in the Omaha, Nebraska area. It dropped another 24 cents this week!

$2.33 for ethanol (10%)
$2.43 for regular

So, how much for a gallon in your area and where are you?

I paid £4.27p today in the UK for unleaded (94.9p per litre).

That equates to $6.795, so you can see how much dearer fuel is in the UK.
